Details	:	Professionalism in property management develops rapidly with the enactment of the Property Management Services Ordinance in 2016. No matter whether you work for a PM company (PMC) or have business dealings with any building management bodies like owners’ corporations and PMCs, you may be interested in the following: Recent development of professionalism in property management industry with new requirements for licensed property management practitioners to uphold probity and PMCs to formulate corruption prevention policy and manage integrity risk Common corruption prone areas in property management, particularly carrying out renovation projects Introduction of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance in the context of property management with illustrative ICAC cases Tips of upholding professional ethics and integrity management Report corruption channels & procedures ICAC’s corruption prevention services for building management
Remarks	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful payment of the registration fee, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website. On-line registration is not applicable for non-HKIS members. To register, please complete the CPD registration form and return with payment to the HKIS Secretariat. Please install the Zoom Application in advance at https://www.zoom.us/download. For Mobile phones, iPads & Android, install the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app from App Store or Play Store. For PC and Mac, download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
