Advancement Support Scheme (PASS) to Promote Surveying & Mapping Professional Services in Belt and Road Countries
As reported last year, the Government’s funding scheme, PASS, awarded $1.93 million to the HKIS, 10% of which would be HKIS-supplied on a nominal basis. The LSD has prepared some advanced promotional products in UAV-generated, urban 3D-modelled, remotesensing applications, among others, for urban development and natural resource reservations. It is working hard to translate the surveying practice rules and qualifications to be referenced by China’s targeted One Belt, One Road (OBOR) partners.
